OWO Haptics

DEFENSE

OWO Haptics applied to defense revolutionizes military training, offering unprecedented realism in simulation. Our patented technology allows us to generate realistic sensations that reinforce cognitive learning and enable the transfer of sensations experienced in virtual tactical training to real-life situations. Our patented haptic technology allows us to personalize the experience by creating infinite sensations that are reproduced with precision and realism, such as impacts, recoil, explosions, pressure, or muscle contractions, and allows us to transform virtual and mixed reality training into a real physical experience, enabling soldiers and security forces to train as if they were on a real mission, but without risk. An innovation that enhances tactical effectiveness, accelerates learning, and sets a new standard in defense and security preparedness.

EASY TO IMPLEMENT. BUILT FOR DEVELOPERS

We’ve made it easy to bring OWO into your system or product. Whatever you’re building for, integration is fast and flexible.

Sensations

Use the Sensations Creator to design and configure stimuli for your experience.

Define each stage as a microsensation with parameters like frequency, intensity, duration, fade in/out, and exit time, and map them to body zones.

Connect the Sensation Creator to the MyOWO App to preview and adjust sensations directly.

Software developer kit usage (SDK)

Integrate with our public SDK, compatible with leading game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) and languages (C++, C#). It only takes a few lines of code to connect to the myOWO App, subscribe to events, and trigger the sensations you defined.

Hardware

The OWO device uses bluetooth BLE connectivity to bridge the gap between the OWO Skin and the experience.

It is a pocket-sized, lightweight tool plugged to the OWO skin and pin-secured linked to MyOWO App.

OWO SKIN

The OWO Skin is the main garment of the haptic system. It acts as an interface between the user’s body and the sensations generated by the device. The OWO skin is ergonomic, unisex design features 10 active muscle zones. It is made of elastic technical fabrics that offer comfort, durability and precision in the transmission of sensations. It incorporates low-resistance electrodes that are placed directly on the skin using conductive gel. It is available in different sizes to adapt to physical profiles.

The OWO Skin combines textile engineering, electronics and functionality in a solution developed entirely by OWO. The result is an innovative, safe and adaptable haptic vest.

OWO device

The OWO Device is the core of the haptic system, designed to generate and distribute electrical pulses that stimulate muscle groups with precision, allowing the user to feel in real time what is happening in digital environments. Its compact and lightweight design has been developed entirely by the OWO team, which ensures high quality, seamless integration between hardware and software, and an agile and continuous improvement capability.

Designed with high security and reliability standards, it incorporates certified components and encrypted connections via Bluetooth. Its firmware, developed in C on ARM architecture, coordinates pulse generation, communications and OTA updates. It also includes advanced security and authentication layers, ensuring data integrity in critical sectors such as defence and healthcare.
